William Lee "Byrd" Teasley, 72, of Youngsville, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015. Funeral services were held Friday, July 24 at Richardson's Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg. The Rev. Willie R. Nixon III officiated.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Teasley; daughter, Brenda Teasley Jones (Mark) of Franklinton;step-daughter, Barbara Unchurch (Danny) of Raleigh; sons, Danny Teasley (Sandra) of Henderson, Carl Teasley (Dorothy) of Franklinton, and Johnnie Teasley of the home; sisters, Annie Teasley and Annie Price, both of Franklinton; brothers, James Teasley of Louisburg, Willie Teasley (Helen) of Youngsville, and Cassius Teasley, of Franklinton; 6 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
