Fred Horace Dale, 77, of Norfolk, Va., (formerly of Louisburg) passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 21 at 1 p.m. from the Gillfield Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Curis Lucas, Jr. will officiate.

He is survived by his daughters Cathy Brodnax (Louis) of the home, and Theresa Harvey (Robert) of Norfolk, VA; sons, Fred Harvey Dale (Leticia) of Chesapeake, VA; sister, Marie Chittenden (John) of Middlesex, NJ; brothers, Thomas Dale (Tensie) and Andrew Dale (Betty), all of Louisburg; 10 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
