Bessie Elizabeth Richardson, 66, of Red Oak, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 25 at 2 p.m. from the Mt. Bethel Baptist Church. Entombment will follow in the Nick and Lizzie Richardson Family Cemetery. The Rev. Willie Silver will officiate.

Open visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home, Nashville, on Friday, July 24 from 3-7 p.m.

She is survived by her husband, Tyrone Richardson; daughters Dywanna Burcheck (Troy) of New York City, NY, Felecia Thorpe (Maurice) of Rocky Mount, Lakisha Richardson of Macon, NC, and Shawtia Richardson of Rocky Mount; sons, Winston Powell, Jr. (Shamika) of Rocky Mount, and Tyrone Richardson, Jr. (Charlene) of Macon, NC; sisters, Mattie Pernell of Henderson, Gloria Johnson of New York City, NY, and Lillie Mae Sheridan (Sammy) of Rocky Mount; and 14 grandchildren.
