Annie "Ruth" Winstead, 89, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015. She was born March 8, 1926 in Nash County to the late John Dean Bunn, Sr. and Margaret Estelle Price Bunn. Ruth was a member of Nashville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald W. Winstead

She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Ronald Winstead, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas; one daughter, Donna King and husband Bob of Raleigh NC; two grandchildren, Eric Neil Scholz and Lauren Scholz Phillips; four great-grandchildren, Emma Grace and Hayden Anthony Phillips, Ella Ruth and Miles Eliot Scholz; one sister, Jean Bunn Cartee and husband J.T.

Graveside service will be Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery of Nashville, NC.
