James Thomas Boone, 82, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015. He was born to the late Lonnie Clifton and Mattie Edwards Boone in Wilson County. James was also preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Birney Boone and a grandchild, Daniel Pridgen.
He is survived by his son, Thomas Boone (Linda) of Nashville; daughters, Patricia Chamblee (Jan) of Zebulon, and Janice Boone of Wilson; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren
A visitation will take place at Cornerstone Funeral Home in Nashville on Friday, June 26 from 6 pm until 8pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 27 at 11 am at Cornerstone with Rev. Jim Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Wilson. The family will meet at other times at the home of Janice Boone 3014 Cranberry Ridge Dr. Wilson.
