Alexis "A.G." Gordon Ingram, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2015. He was born on September 8, 1939 in Bassett, Virginia, son of Bertie Lou Turner Ingram and Clenard Lee Ingram.

A.G. is survived by his son, Stephen Ingram and his wife, Lisa, of Rocky Mount; two grandsons; sisters, Carolyn Eggleston of Winston-Salem and Esther Lee Wysor of Knoxville, TN; brother, Allen Ingram and his wife, Jean, of Roanoke, VA and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his ex-wife and friend, Kathy.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 5 pm at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1130 N. Winstead Avenue, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 4-5 pm and at all other times at the home of Stephen Ingram. A burial will take on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 1 pm at Turner Cemetery in Stuart, VA.
