Carl O. Smith, Jr., of age 67, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Born in Lima, OH on March 6, 1948, he is the son of Joyce Folk Smith of Austin, TX and the late Carlowen Smith.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Matisz Smith; daughter Caroline S. Riddle and her husband Jason; son, Carlowen Smith of Tallahassee; one grandchild; a sister, Nancy S. Herron, her husband John of Austin, TX and a brother, Donald Smith of Raleigh.
A service was held Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
