Carl Adam Sills, 85, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015. He was born in Nash County November 23, 1929 to the late Willard McClain Sills and Sudie Jane Sykes. In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his first wife Janie Sills and brothers, Ted and Bobby Sills.
He is survived by sons, Dana Sills and his wife, Trina, Clay Sills, Buddy Sills and his wife, Charlotte, and James Sills; daughter, Theresa Sills; brother, Earl Sills; 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Rev. Gerald Parker officiating.
