Janette Vanhook Hollifield of Nashville, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015.
Janette is survived by her husband, James M. Hollifield; daughter, Zandra Bontrager of Elm City; three sons, Troy Lindsey of Nashville, Rudy Lindsey of Gainsville, GA, Ted Lindsey of Rocky Mount; step son, W.J. Hollifield of Cary; brother, John "Shorty" Vanhook of Nashville; three sisters, Shirley Overton of Kinston, Faye Edwards of Nashville, Raye Matthews of Nashville; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Woody Jones officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to 3HC Home Health and Hospice Care, 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
