Paul David Whitley, Jr., age 89, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2015. He was born on July 27, 1925 to the late Paul David Whitley, Sr. and Ethel Joyner Whitley. He was predeceased in death by a daughter, Judy Carol Whitley Worrell and a brother, Charles Henry Whitley.
He is survived by his wife, Bertha Bradshaw Whitley of Rocky Mount; his son, Paul Richard Whitley, Sr.; his son-in-law, Ken Worrell of Bedford, TX; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Vivian Whitley Viverette and Mary Louise Whitley Daughtridge, both of Rocky Mount.
A service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Robin Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00am at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
