Danielle Lewis Strickland, of Middlesex, passed away Friday, May, 1, 2015. She was born in Nash County on May 6, 1939. She was the daughter of the late Phillip Lewis and Mary Daniel.
She is survived by her husband, Johnnie D. Strickland; sons, John (Michele) of Panama City Beach, Florida, Jeffrey (Sherry) of Winterville and Mark (Deanna) of Wilson; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sister-in-law, Verla Capps Lewis.
In addition to her parent's death, she was preceded in death by her sister, Janie Lewis Edwards and husband, W.H. "Bill"; her brother, Isaac "Ike" Lewis, her nephew, Phil Edwards, and her step-mother, Pearl Faison Lewis.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at Middlesex Baptist Church. Burial followed in Hollywood Cemetery, Middlesex.
