Sheila Temple Gray, 68, of Rocky Mount, passed away Friday, April 17, 2015. She ws born August 24, 1946 in Suffolk, VA. She was preceded in death by her son, Stuart Brent Gray, Jr; her father, Deronda Temple; her mother, Doris Riddick Scott; and her step- father, Edward Scott.
She is survived by her husband, S. Brent Gray; daughter, Denise Gray Jenkins and her husband Joey of Raleigh; daughter-in-law, Shelly Gray of Rocky Mount; two sisters, Gloria Van Sickle and her husband Art of Greeley, CO, and Shirley Trueblood and her husband Bill of Elizabeth City; one brother, Ronnie Temple and his wife JoAnn also of Elizabeth City; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 20, 2015 at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Brandon Dees officiating. A private burial was at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Flowers are accepted, or donations may be made in Mrs. Gray's name to Calvary Baptist Church, 505 South Englewood Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
