Patsy Smith Morgan, 77, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015. She was born March 20, 1938 in Kinston. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Roland Smith and Inez Nunn Davis; and step-father, Dollie Davis; step-mother, Frances Davis; brother, Roland Smith, Jr.; step-brother, Glen Davis.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gilbert R. Morgan; two children, Cindy Pace and husband Jeff of Spring Hope, Jeff Morgan and wife Marie of Red Oak; step-brother, Roger Davis and wife Martha of Calypso; step-sister, Cathy Brock of Mount Olive; five grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Brantley and Rev. Frankie Carroll officiating. Private family burial followed.
