Agnes Joyner Turner, 84 passed away Sunday, April 12, 2015. She was born in Nash County January 11, 1931 to the late Redmond and Mollie Davis Joyner. She was preceded in death by her husband, McCoy Turner and five sisters and one brother.
She is survived by her son, Gary Turner (Susan) of Elm City; daughters, Cindy T. Young (Bill) of Knightdale, Kathy T. Benner (Carl) of Elm City; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother in law, Clarence Joyner and sister in law, Margaret Joyner.
A funeral service was held Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Pridgen officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
