Geraldine B. Nelms of Nashville 82, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Mt. Zion FWB Church with the Rev. Howard Kendrick officiating. Entombment followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Benjamin and Anna Cooper Brown; her husband, Marvin Earl Nelms; daughter, Mary Viverette; sister, Etta Jones and brother, Earl Brown.
She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Bass and husband, Tim, of Momeyer; Susan McLean and husband, Danny, of Battleboro; sons, Ben Nelms and wife, Janet, of Rocky Mount, Richard Nelms of Spring Hope, John Nelms of Nashville; brother, Harold Brown of Rocky Mount; ten grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Mt. Zion FWB Church Building Fund.
