NASHVILLE – Susan Sills Lowe, 44 died Wednesday, November 14, 2007. She was born in Nash County on July 30, 1963. Susan was preceded in death by her mother, Lizzie Parker Sills and a sister, Darlene Sills.

She is survived by her daughters, Kristy Michelle Lowe-Rice and husband, Nicholas Jacob Rice of Nashville, Brittney Denise Lowe of Nashville; her father, Earl Lee Sills, Sr. of Nashville; sisters, Glenda Sills Wood and husband, Tim of Virginia, Denise Sills Carroll of Nashville, Laurie Sills Swanson and husband, Howard of Nashville; brother, Earl Lee Sills, Jr. and wife, Roxanne of Florida; six nieces, four nephews, three great nieces and nine great nephews.

A funeral service was held Sunday, November 18, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Arnold officiating. Burial followed at Red Oak Cemetery. The family received friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of her father, Earl Sills.
