LaVern B. Mitchell, age 52 of Zebulon, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2015.
Funeral service were held Wednesday. April 8, 2015 at White Oak Hill Baptist Church, Middlesex. Burial, Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Zebulon.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond D. Mitchell; her children, LaKisha R. Brown of Kenly, Anthony O. Evans (Syretta) of Wilson Mills and Spencer D. Mitchell of the home; stepdaughter, TeKisha Nicholson (Roger) of Wendell; six grandchildren; four sisters, Dianne O'Neal (Billy) of Bailey, Barbara Sutton (Bobby) of Zebulon, Carolyn Whitley of Raleigh and Sharon Doughty of Middlesex; God sister, Lossie Hodge of Zebulon; four brothers, Jimmy Brown of Zebulon, Derrick Brown (Jackie) of Spring Hope and Eric Brown of Wilson Mills, (One brother preceded her in death, Ricky Brown); mother-in-law, Emma Mitchell of Zebulon; sister-in-law, Arlene Jenkins.
