Dixie W. Bass of Nashville passed away on April 2, 2015. She was born June 29, 1936. She was the daughter of William O. and Hulda Chamblee Whitley. She was preceded in death by her husband Simon Kinlaw Bass, daughter, Vicki Rose, son, Darrell Boyd and two grandchildren.
She is survived by a sister, Claudia Crusenberry; daughter, Mary Beth Hamlin and husband, Norman Batterton; sons, Robert Ashley and Jerry Wayne, four grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Lisa B. Webb and husband, Louis, Pauline P. Bass and husband, Darrell.
A memorial service was held on Monday, April 6, 2015 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Visitation followed after service.
