Erma Smith Carpenter Hall, 59, passed away Monday March 30, 2015. She was born July 25, 1955 in Edgecombe County to the late Selby and Mable Deese Smith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Tom Smith and Pete Smith
She is survived by her daughter, Candi Jo Carpenter; one grandson; brothers, Charlie and Edgar Smith; sisters, Tootsie Smith, Judy Collie, Madelyn Brewington and Paulette Moore.
Visitation will be private and a memorial service will be held at later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to State Employees Credit Union, Nashville in honor of Erma Smith Hall. Arrangements by Cornerstone Funeral Home and Cremations, Nashville.
