Linda Faye Mitchell, 70, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015. She was born in Nash County to the late Velburn and Rose Higson. She is also preceded in death by a sister, Bobbie Perdue.

She is survived by her husband, Clayton Mitchell; son, Timothy Mitchell; daughters, Linda Mitchell and Jennifer Wood(Mike); six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Sheila Murray (Clyde); sisters-in-law, Charlotte Farmer and Annette Mitchell (Ronnie).
A service was held Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde Murray officiating. Burial will followed the service in Forest Hill Cemetery.
