Peggy Sykes Wood of Spring Hope, age 83, passed away Friday, January 30, 2015.
A memorial service was held Tuesday, February 3, 2015,  at First Baptist Church of Spring Hope. Rev. Kevin Moore officiated. Private burial will be at a later date.
She was preceded in death by her husband J.M. Wood, son Ronnie Wood, brother, Vick Sykes and parents, Arie and Amelia Sykes.
She is survived by a son, Steve Wood, of the home; one sister Mildred S. Williams of Zebulon; two brothers Arie Skyes Jr. of Jonesville and Wilton Sykes of Spring Hope.
