Patricia Gail Casey Joyner, 66, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2015. She was born in Nash County, the daughter of the late Allen Jay Casey and Margaret Jackson Casey. She was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Jackson Casey.
She  is survived by her husband, William Rufus Joyner, Jr. of Rocky Mount; one son, Matthew Ryan Joyner and wife, Dana of Raleigh; two grandchildren; one brother, Allen J. Casey, Jr.; sister-in-law, Dorothy Joyner Flora; several nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Gail’s memory to Sunset Avenue Baptist Church, 3732 Sunset Avenue, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 or National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater Carolina Chapter, 3101 Industrial Drive, Suite 210, Raleigh, NC 27609 in memory of Gail Joyner.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Rocky Mount, with Pastor Robin Fisher and Pastor Steve Roberson officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
