NASHVILLE - Harvey Taylor, 83, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Tyrone Jones officiating. Burial followed in the Oakland Cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters,  Tabitha Hoffler, of Red Oak, Judy Dickens, of Rocky Mount and Angela Freeman, of Nashville; four sons, James Taylor of Nashville and Aaron Taylor, Keith Taylor and Donald Taylor, all of Rocky Mount; 17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
