NASHVILLE - Luther Dexter Barbee, 87, passed away, Friday, January 23, 2015. He was born June 25, 1927 in Nash County to the late Luther Franklin and Jeanette Pridgen Barbee. Luther was preceded in death by three sisters, Rachel Barbee Stokes, Hazel Barbee Teague and Alene Barbee.
Survivors include three nieces and two nephews.
Visitation was Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Nashville Baptist Church with funeral service following with Rev. J. Kenneth Byrd officiating. Burial was at Forest Hill Cemetery.
