Roy Lee “Buck” Wiggs, 80, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015.  He was

born in Nash County January 4, 1935 to the late Ed and Stella Whitley Wiggs. In addition to his parents, Buck was preceded in death by a brother, Ben Wiggs, a sister, Sissy Edwards and step-dad, William Driver.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Eason Wiggs; daughters, Sudie Hawkins (Danny), Patricia Williams (Glenn), Linda Vermeulen (John); brother, William “Bud” Wiggs; sisters, Janie Page, Minnie Ruth Mooring, Bonnie Taylor (Jimmie), grandchildren, Dennis and Mike Williams and Crystal Tevepaugh.

A service to celebrate his life will be held 6:00 p.m., Friday, January 16, 2015 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Norman officiating and Rev. Billy Webb.

The family will receive friends following the service.  Burial will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2014 at Mill Branch Cemetery.
