Stephen Clay Bennett, age 71, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014. He was the son of the late Noah Roberson Bennett and Opal Nugent Bennett. Stephen was also predeceased by his sister, Jeanette Bennett Moore.
He is survived by his sister, Susan Carrington and her husband, Kirby of Rocky Mount; brother, Noah (Robbie) Bennett and his wife, Joyce of Rocky Mount; and several nieces and nephews.
A gathering of family and friends was held Wednesday, December 17, 2014  at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Rocky Mount.
