Howard Eustace Haynes, age 89, died on Wednesday, November 19, 2014. Born in Louisville, MS, on July 10, 1925, he was the son of the late Eustace Haynes and Florence Kinard Haynes. He was predeceased by his daughter, Helen Elizabeth (“Betsy”) Haynes Anderson.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Blake Haynes of sixty-nine years; son-in-law, Stephen Worley Anderson of Rocky Mount; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held  Sunday, November 23, 2014   at Church of the Good Shepherd, Rocky Mount,  with Reverend Matt Johnson officiating.  Burial  followed at Greenwood Cemetery, Tarboro.
