NASHVILLE - Jimmy Levi Griffin, 53, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2014. He was born in Nash Co. on November 14, 1960 to the late James H. Griffin and Ophelia Griffin Leonard.  Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, J.W. Matthews.
Jimmy is survived by his  wife, Jo Ann Robbins Griffin; two daughters, Stephanie Meadows and husband Thomas and Leslie Wester and husband Robert; two brothers, Mickey Matthews and wife Bonnie and Bobby Griffin; sister, Kathy Buck and husband Billy; two grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, November 3, 2014 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Burial followed at the Griffin Family Cemetery.
