Randolph Macon Brantley, Sr., passed away, Monday September 29, 2014. He was born October 15, 1924 in Nash County to the late Hassell “Doc” and Blanch Wheeler Brantley. He was preceded in death by son, Randy Brantley, daughter, Mary Boone, step-daughter, Becky Wester, brothers; Pete Donald and Maryland Brantley.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jane Winters Brantley; daughters, Margaret Mosley and husband Harlon, Sue Long and husband Ray, step-daughter, Donna Hines and husband Mike; three sisters, Darlene, Ercel, and Peggy; grandchild, reared as a son, Dallas “Shorty” Proctor; eleven other grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
A graveside Service will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 11am at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cornerstone Funeral Home and Cremations in Nashville to assist with final expenses.
