Eugene Weaver, 77, passed away Friday, September 26, 2014. He was born in Johnston County to the late Herman and Sadie Weaver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bud, Ed and JD Weaver; nephews, Junior and Brian Weaver.
He is survived by his wife, Betsy W. Weaver; sons, Danny Weaver and wife, Freda and David Weaver; daughters, Beth Weaver, Virginia LeQuire and husband, Randy, Vicky Sykes and husband, Ken, and Larue Weaver; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Billy Weaver and a twin sister, Geraldine Barbour.
A memorial service was held Monday, September 29, 2014 at Oak Level Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church in Rocky Mount, with visitation following the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Oak Level Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
