CLINTON – Rev. Roy Thomas Clifton, 66, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007. Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday, Oct. 10) at 2 p.m. at St. Paul Free Will Baptist Church with Dr. Rudy Owens and Dr. Buddy Rogerson officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Lane Clifton; two sons, Jeffery and wife Donna Clifton of Rolesville and Gene and wife Amy Clifton of Butner; three sisters, Doris C. Croom of Woodstock, Va., Helen C. Ballance of Clinton and Marie C. Hairr of Garner; four brothers, James Clifton of Wilmington, and Howard, Glenn and Charles Clifton, all of Clinton; and three grandchildren.
