Pattie (Pat) Bowen Jordan, 88, of Rocky Mount passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2014. She was born July 24, 1926 in Nash County, daughter of the late Hosea Thomas and Maggie Anderson Parker. Pat was preceded in death by her first husband, Rev. Johnny Bowen; a son, Rev. Don Bowen; a sister, Norma P. Robinson; and a brother, Randolph Parker.
She is survived by her  husband, Kenneth Wayne Jordan; a daughter, Deborah Buhrke of Greenbush, New York; daughter-in-law, Beth Thomas Bowen of Shallotte; three brothers, Henry Thomas Parker of Elm City, Arthur William Parker of Wilson and Paul Anderson Parker of Rocky Mount; four grandchildren; one step-grandson; three great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Daisy B. Odom of Rocky Mount.
A graveside service was held  Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with the Rev. Glenn Hill and Rev. Tim Parker officiating.
