RALEIGH - George Carter, 68, died on Wednesday, August 20, 2014.
Funeral services were held on Monday, August 25, 2014 from the White Rock Baptist Church with Rev. Alonzo West officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Jasmin Carter, of Greensboro, Gabrielle Woodard-Carter, of Brooklyn, NY and Arianna Carter, of Nashville; one son, Jamon Carter of Raleigh; a mother, Nancy Carter, of Hollister; two sisters, Elaine Pearson and spouse, David, of Hampton, VA and Hattie Richardson and husband, Larry, of Hollister; five brothers, Tony Carter and spouse, Vickie, Wilmington, Conrad Carter and spouse, Terri, of Willow Springs, Terry Carter and spouse, Melanie of Raleigh, Robert Carter and spouse, Brenda, of Hollister and Earnest Carter, and spouse, Carla, of Bowie, MD; and three grandchildren.
