Bryan Henry Whitford, Jr., 97, passed away on August 22, 2014. He was born May 18, 1917 in Beaufort County, the youngest of the four children of Bryan Henry Whitford, Sr. and Cornelia Mills Whitford. He was predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Grace Monteith Whitford.
He is survived by his four children (two sets of twins): Bryan Henry Whitford III, Grace Whitford Smith, Gary Bowen Whitford and Larry Owen Whitford; seven grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park, 4454 Dortches Blvd., Rocky Mount with Dr. Ronnie Aycock officiating.
