Dorothy Edwards Sanders died June 24, 2007 at her home in Moses Lake Washington after a two year battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. She was born September 26, 1921 to the late Frank and Lou Edwards of Spring Hope, NC.

She is survived by daughter, Judy and husband Les Wilson; grandchildren, Scott and Gerri Wilson, Traci and Jeff Sevigney; great grandchildren, Wyatt and Reagan Sevigney and Rylee Jo Wilson; sister-in-law, Ethel Edwards; niece, Mary Kathryn Tripp; three nephews, Don Broadwell, Gary and Jerry Edwards.

She is preceded by husband Paul Sanders, Jr.; brother, Atlas Edwards; and sister, WillaDeen Broadwell.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at 11 am at Johnson’s Chapel of Nashville, NC. The family will receive visitors immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to White Oak Methodist Church, 3488 Rose Loop Road, Nashville, NC 27856.
