ROCKY MOUNT –– Iris Demetrius “Meat-Meat” Western Parker, 54, of Rocky Mount, died on July 13, 2014.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19, 2014, at Greater Mount Herman Baptist Church in Rocky Mount; Pastor Dennis Gunter, officiated. The Interment took place immediately following the service at Gardens of Gethsemane in Rocky Mount.
