Janet Rouse Evans, 64, passed away, Saturday, July 12, 2014 in Nash County. She was born May 1, 1950 to the late Herbert and Carolyn Lassiter Rouse.  She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Dennis G. Evans; son, Dennis C. Evans and wife Vanessa; daughter, Melissa E. Parrish and husband Robert; brother, Herbert “Smokey” Rouse and wife Linda; sister, Claudia R. Vick and husband David; three grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday July 14, 2014 in the chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home. Arrangements by Cornerstone Funeral Home and Cremations, Nashville.
