Wesley Edward Winstead, 78, of Bailey passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014.  A funeral service was held Saturday, June 14, 2014 at New Sandy Hill Free Will Baptist Church, 8021 New Sandy Hill Church Road, Bailey.  Interment  followed in Bailey Town Cemetery.  The Rev. Anderson Barnes  officiated.
He is survived by his son, Terry Alan Winstead and wife, Linda of Wilson; one granddaughter;   sister, La Rue Price of Garner. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Denton Winstead; his parents, Daniel Edward and Cramer Finch Winstead; his sisters, Roberta W. Callaway and Jackie Latham; and his brother, C.D. Winstead.
