Christine Whitley Carraway, 92, of Middlesex passed away Saturday, June 7, 2014.  Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Wednesday at Lee’s Chapel Baptist Church, 14518 Taylors Mill Road, Middlesex.  Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery, Middlesex.  The Rev. Kenneth Benton and Rev. Terry Freeman will officiate.
Christine is survived by her daughter, Jane Carraway Ferrell of Middlesex; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren;  sisters-in-law, Inez Cherry and Barbara Latta both of Wilson, Eloise Johnson of Elm City, Jean Knight of Rocky Mount and Carolyn O’Neal of Tarboro and her brothers-in-law, Jesse Carraway of Elm City and Allen Norris of Tarboro.
She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-three years, Willie Carraway.
