ROCKY MOUNT - Charles Derwood Wester, 74, died April 29, 2014. He was born August 22, 1939 in Franklin County to the late John Harvey and Mary Frances Ayscue Wester. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eula Rebecca Williams, brother, June Wester and sisters; Rachel Newcomb and Mary Rapoza.
Survivors include his son, William Sullivan, Jr. and wife Angie of Nashville, daughter, Lisa Sullivan and fiancé Ronnie Cockrell of Castalia, two brothers, Richard Wester of Whitakers, Johnny Wester and wife Betty of Nashville, three sisters; Nadine Keel and husband Rex, Linda Tippette and Sandra Boseman all of Rocky Mount and two grandchildren.
Entombment was Friday, May 2, 2014 at Rocky Mount Mausoleum.
