Forest Gibbons, Jr., 73 of Spring Hope, passed away April 20, 2014.

Services were held Thursday, April 24, 2014   at William Toney’s Funeral Home, Spring Hope and  Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the Salem Chapel and Heritage Center, Sumter, SC. Interment was  at the Edwards Cemetery, Sumter, SC.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Dorothy Gibbons; daughter, Becky Rena Gibbons of Hyattsville, MD; sons, Timothy Gibbons of Hyattsville, MD and Anthony McKnight of Camden, NJ; stepdaughter, Charlotte Dunn of Gibsonville, NC; 3 grandchildren; sisters, Evangelist Harrolee Gibbons of Irving, TX and Rhonda Gibbons of Washington, DC; brothers, Clifton Gibbons (Maggie) of Turbeville, SC, Clarence Cauthen-Gibbons of Washington, DC, Jerome Gibbons (Sedatrice) of Clinton, MD and Melvin Gibbons of Washington, DC.
