Kenneth Ray Patterson, Sr., 68, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014. He was born July 24, 1945 in Nash County to the late Herbert and Virginia Lee Patterson.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Mildred Cockrell and Minnie Patterson, brothers, Herbert Jr. and Willie Earl.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Patterson, two sons, Kenneth Ray Patterson, Jr. and wife Corinna, Eric Lee Patterson and wife Angel, one brother, Irvin Patterson, three sisters, Faye Bledsoe, Dorothy Carter and Shirley Herd, and three grandchildren.
A graveside service was held  Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cornerstone Funeral Home for final expences.
