Gene Penn, 69 of Spring Hope, passed away on March 12, 2014.
Memorial Services were held on Monday, March 17, 2014 at William Toney’s Funeral Home Chapel, Spring Hope.
Survivors include his wife, Landis E.J. Penn; daughters, Arletha Renee Horne-Yaden of Phil, PA, Elisa Penn of Spring Hope, Gena Lucas (Emmanuel) of Rocky Mount; four grandchildren; mother-in-law, Herleine Joyner of Spring Hope; brothers-in-law, Dr. William Lawrence Joyner of Wilmington and Michael Joyner of Spring Hope; sisters-in-law, Cassandra Plater (Michael) of Hamilton, VA and Frances Penn (daughter, Penny Penn) of Washington, DC.
