ROCKY MOUNT –– Ellis “Pluty” Davis, 68, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2014 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
 A funeral service was held  Saturday, February 22, 2014 in the Rocky Mount Chapel of H.D. Pope Funeral Home. The Interment took place immediately after the Service in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Battleboro.
 In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association.
