Frederick “Jim” Cannady, age 72 of Spring Hope, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2013.
Funeral services were held  January 19, 2014 at William Toney’s Funeral Home Chapel, Spring Hope. Burial, Meeks Cemetery.
Survivors include: wife, Annie Cannady; son, Earl Winstead of VA; aunt who reared him as a son, Carrie Brinkley of Spring Hope; stepdaughter, Wendy; sister, Shirley Wilkins of Spring Hope; brothers, Waverly Cannady of NY and Lawrence Cannady of Virginia; extended siblings, Jerome Howard of Spring Hope, Kenneth Howard of Raleigh and Lorraine Burgess of Spring Hope; two grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
