JW “Nub” Stokes of Spring Hope passed away November 19, 2013.
Funeral services were held  Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Sandy Fork Baptist Church, 9197 Sandy Fork Road, Wilson. Interment, was at Meeks Cemetery.
He is survived by a son, Ronald J. Price, Sr. (Shelia) of Washington, DC; three grandchildren; one grandchild; his fiancé, Winsome Jean Walker of Clinton, Maryland; six stepdaughters and one stepson all of Washington, DC; one sister, Odessa Stokes of Spring Hope; one brother, James Henry Stokes (Christine) of Spring Hope; one sister-in-law, Ozella Stokes of Washington, DC; one brother-in-law, Walter Jones of Raleigh.
