Robert Perry Leonard “Pie”, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2013. He was 73. Born in Franklin County on January 18, 1940 he was the son of the late Willie and Wilma Gupton Leonard.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Doris Leonard; daughter, Robin Griffin (Doug); sister, Linda Slater (Herbert); brother, Howard Leonard (Rosa); step-daughter, Sherry Hunter (Tony); step-son, Lee Hunter (Patsy); two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter

A service to remember Robert will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with the Reverend Patrick Sinclair officiating. The family will receive friends following the service and at other times at 113 Edinborough Court in Rocky Mount, NC 27803.
