Thelma Eatmon Bell, 92,  passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013. She was born on Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 1920. She was one of nine children born to Earnest and Nannie Eatmon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Russell Bell; three sisters and five brothers.
She is survived by  two daughters, Ellen Johnson (Ronnie) of Rocky Mount and Jean Bell also of Rocky Mount; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A service was held  Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Pridgen and Mr. Kenneth Mullen officiating. Burial  followed Pineview Cemetery.
