Lella Baines Lewis, 77, passed away September 6, 2013. She was born to the late Mary and George Baines in Brunswick County.

She was preceded in death by her son Lindsay Lewis III.

She is survived by her husband Lindsay Lewis Jr. of Spring Hope along with her two children Mark Lewis (Crystal) of Rocky Mount and Sharon Lewis of Spring Hope; six grandchildren.

The family received friends Sunday, September 8,  at Johnson Funerals and Cremations, Rocky Mount.
