Sybil Bunn, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2013. Born in Wilson County on October 20, 1931, she was the daughter of Daniel Walston and Nannie Walston Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Harold Bunn; seven brothers; and four sisters.

She is survived by Jeanette B. Roebuck, Linda B. Bulluck, and Nancy B. Balkcum; as well as her sister, Dora W. Haggard (Frank); five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren

A service was held August 31, 2013 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with her brother-in-law, Rev. Dr. Frank P. Haggard officiating. A graveside service followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to her church, Memorial Baptist Church, 5399 Old Wilson Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27801 would be appreciated.
